Generally allowed
- Personal travel, adventures and experiences
- Education, training and career changes
- Creative projects without an investment return
- Home, accessibility and personal property projects
- Personal health, wellness and life-transition expenses
- Celebrations and milestones that do not involve prohibited goods or services
- Business projects that do not sell equity, promise returns, or involve restricted activity
Not allowed
- Illegal drugs, unlawful weapons, explosives or stolen/counterfeit goods
- Gambling, lotteries, raffles, sweepstakes, contests with prizes, or betting
- Pornography, prostitution, escorts, sexual services or other prohibited adult activity
- Loan repayments by credit card, payday lending, debt settlement or credit-repair services
- Equity, securities, interest, profit sharing, guaranteed returns, crypto offerings or other investments
- Money transmission, cash exchange, check cashing, gift-card schemes or pass-through payments
- Hate, unlawful violence, fraud, impersonation, deceptive claims or rights infringement
- Any product, service, person or jurisdiction prohibited by law, card networks, Stripe, or our payment partners
Some plans need review
Registries involving regulated products, alcohol, tobacco, CBD/cannabis, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, weapons, cryptocurrency, prizes, rewards, or other elevated-risk subjects are paused for review and may be rejected.
How enforcement works
We screen registry details when they are created, again before publication, and again before checkout. We may request documentation, hide or pause a registry, block payments, refund a contribution, or report activity when required. Passing an automated screen does not guarantee continued eligibility.
