Registered at Life combines creator responsibility, payment verification, visible progress, policy screening, and human review to reduce fraud and keep the platform useful.
Before a registry goes live
- The creator must identify the type of goal and certify that the registry is truthful and lawful
- Registry and goal text is screened against prohibited and restricted funding categories
- Flagged plans are paused for human review
- The creator must complete Stripe identity and payout onboarding before accepting money
When somebody contributes
- Stripe securely collects and processes payment information
- Registered at Life never stores full card numbers
- A contribution is counted only after a signed Stripe webhook verifies payment
- Refunded or disputed contributions are removed from funded progress
What verification does—and does not—mean
Stripe onboarding verifies information needed for payment processing. It does not guarantee that every creator, statement, outcome, or use of funds is accurate. Contributors should review the registry and only contribute when they are comfortable supporting the stated goal.
Report a concern
Use Support to report suspected fraud, misleading information, prohibited activity, safety concerns, or misuse of funds. Include the registry link and supporting details. We may pause payments or hide content during review.
Emergency situations
Registered at Life is not an emergency service. If somebody is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services instead of submitting a support request.
