PRIVACY

Collect what we need. Protect what we collect.

We use information to run registries, process contributions, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

Information we handle

Account identity and contact details, registry and goal content, contribution details, messages, technical/security data, and support communications. Stripe separately collects payment, identity, bank and tax information needed for processing and payouts.

How we use it

To provide and secure the service, process payments, calculate progress, communicate about activity, investigate fraud or policy violations, comply with law, and improve the product.

What is public

Published registry content, creator display name, goal progress, and non-anonymous contributor names or messages may be public. Contributor email and payment details are not displayed publicly.

Sharing

We share data with service providers such as Stripe when necessary to operate the service, and with authorities or affected parties when legally required or needed to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

Signed-in creators can download a copy of their creator data or submit and cancel an account-closure request from Profile & Preferences.

Account closure and retention

Closing an account ends sign-in access, removes optional profile and notification information, and takes its registries out of public view. We may retain limited records needed to process payments, refunds and disputes; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain security and audit trails; enforce agreements; and comply with legal obligations. Closing Registered at Life does not automatically close or erase information held independently by Stripe.

Effective September 17, 2026. This launch draft should receive attorney review before broad public release.
